ams' highly accurate capacitive sensors enable reliable and accurate presence sensing of human beings in automotive systems.
Apart from using ams' capacitive sensors for human detection, it can be used for many more applications such as Hand-on-Detection for autonomous driving, fluid level sensing or touchless trunk opening.

I&Q Demodulation Cap Sensing
ams’ I&Q demodulation based capacitive sensors, separate the measured capacitance into the parasitic resistive and capacitive part. Therefore the sensors are ideal for detecting human presence or interaction as well as sensing different liquids and fluid levels. The sensors can be used in various applications.
